Yangarra Estate Shiraz 2023

Yangarra Estate Shiraz is the estate's regional bottling, drawn from biodynamic vineyards across the property.

The Yangarra property sits at Blewitt Springs in the higher north-east of McLaren Vale, where sand over clay and a gully breeze give Shiraz freshness alongside its depth. Peter Fraser ran the estate from 2000 until his death in 2025 and took it to biodynamic certification. Fruit is hand-picked, fermented with native yeast in open vessels and matured in a mix of old oak and ceramic amphorae.

Serve at 17 degrees with grilled beef, lamb shoulder or hard cheese. It will develop over ten years.
