Yangarra GSM 2024

Yangarra GSM blends Grenache, Shiraz and Mourvèdre, the southern Rhône trio, from biodynamic McLaren Vale fruit.

The GSM blend has been made in Australia since the nineteenth century but fell out of fashion until growers like Yangarra returned to it. Each variety is picked and fermented separately on the estate's Blewitt Springs sands, then blended: Grenache gives perfume and red fruit, Shiraz depth, Mourvèdre structure. The estate is certified biodynamic and uses native yeast throughout.

Serve at 16 degrees with roast lamb, sausages or a tagine. Drink over the next eight years.
