Description

42 Degrees South Premier Cuvée is a traditional-method Tasmanian sparkling from Chardonnay and Pinot Noir.

Tasmania produces the best sparkling base in Australia because its fruit ripens at low sugar with very high acidity, which is exactly what the method needs. Chardonnay and Pinot Noir are the Champagne varieties. The wine undergoes a second fermentation in bottle and rests on lees before disgorgement.

Serve at 8 degrees as an aperitif, or with oysters and fried food. Drink on release.
