Description
Description
42 Degrees South Sauvignon Blanc comes from the cool Coal River Valley in southern Tasmania.
At 42 degrees of latitude, Sauvignon Blanc ripens slowly and holds a sharp line of acidity, giving a wine closer to the Loire in profile than to Marlborough. The Coal River Valley sits in a rain shadow east of Hobart. The wine is fermented cool in stainless steel and bottled young.
Serve at 9 degrees with oysters, goat's cheese or green vegetables. Drink within two years.
