Alain Jaume Champauvins Blanc is a white Côtes du Rhône from the family's organic estate.

Southern Rhône whites are built on Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne and Viognier, varieties that give weight and texture rather than aromatics, which suits the heat. White makes up a small fraction of the appellation's production. The Jaume family has grown vines at Orange since 1826 and farms organically.

Serve at 11 degrees with roast chicken, rich fish or a soft cheese. Drink over the next five years.
