Description

Alkoomi Family Collection Chardonnay is a medium-bodied white from Frankland River.

Alkoomi was planted in 1971 by Merv and Judy Lange and is still family owned, farming some of the oldest vines in Western Australia's Great Southern. Frankland River is inland and high, with warm days and very cool nights, which gives Chardonnay here a firm line of natural acidity. The Family Collection is barrel fermented in part, with the rest kept in tank to hold the fruit fresh.

Serve at 11 degrees with roast chicken, pork or a creamy pasta. Drink over the next four years.
