Alkoomi Family Collection Riesling 2025

Alkoomi Family Collection Riesling comes from Frankland River, the inland sub-region of Western Australia's Great Southern.

Frankland River sits around eighty kilometres from the coast in the Great Southern, a cool, continental pocket that produces Australia's most aromatic Rieslings outside Clare and Eden Valley. Merv and Judy Lange planted Alkoomi on their sheep and wheat farm at Wingebellup in 1971, making it the sub-region's pioneer estate, and the family still runs it half a century and fifty vintages later. The name is Noongar for a place we chose. The wine is fermented cool in stainless steel and bottled dry.

Serve at 8 degrees with seafood, salads or Thai food. It will develop over a decade.
