Description
An Approach to Relaxation Sucette Grenache 2019 is a Grenache from the Barossa Valley in South Australia.
Beyond grape and place, nothing about the farming or the cellar work is documented in the material we hold, so this stays short. The Barossa Valley holds some of the oldest Grenache vines in the world, much of it on sandy ground in the valley's western and northern reaches, and the variety has moved over the past decade from fortified and blending duty to varietal bottlings picked earlier and handled gently.
Barossa Grenache in a lighter register tends to show raspberry and red plum with a dusty, peppery finish and soft tannin. Serve at 14 to 16 degrees, a touch cooler than room temperature, with grilled lamb, roast duck or a tomato-based pasta.
*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur. If you are after a specific vintage, please contact us prior to ordering.
