Angas Premium Moscato NV

Angas Premium Moscato is a pink, lightly fizzy and gently sweet wine made in the popular Moscato style.

Angas is a long-running range from Yalumba, the family winery based in the Barossa town of Angaston, and is named after George Fife Angas, a founding figure in South Australian settlement. This Moscato is built mainly on Muscat à Petits Grains, the aromatic grape behind Italy's Moscato d'Asti, with a touch of Shiraz adding its watermelon-pink colour. The wine is made with low alcohol and a light spritz in mind, keeping the natural grapey perfume of the Muscat. Expect floral, lychee and musk aromas, strawberry and tropical fruit flavours, gentle sweetness through the middle and a crisp, clean finish.

Best served very cold, straight from the fridge or an ice bucket. It is a crowd pleaser at picnics and summer gatherings, and pairs well with fresh fruit, pavlova, strawberries and cream, or mildly spiced Asian dishes. Drink it young.
