Animus Distillery Bauble Ambrosian Dry Gin 50ml

Animus Distillery Bauble Ambrosian Dry Gin 50ml is a 50ml Christmas bauble filled with the distillery's spiced gin.

The bauble is exactly what it sounds like: a small glass ornament, filled and sealed, made to hang on a tree and then be drunk. They appear each December and have become a fixture on Australian gin shelves at that time of year. Inside is the Macedon Ranges distillery's most aromatic core gin, driven by fresh mandarin, lime and young makrut lime leaf, with ginger and galangal for rooty warmth and white sesame seed lending body and a nutty finish. Juniper, cardamom, angelica root, clove, coriander seed, turmeric, lemon myrtle and star anise fill in behind.

Fifty millilitres is one solid drink. Make it a gin and tonic with good tonic and a lime wedge, or split it between two small Martinis if you want to taste the gin more plainly. Serve it very cold either way.
