Animus Distillery Gin Bauble 3-pack is a limited-edition set of three 50ml baubles holding the Davidsonia, Test Pressing and Barrel Aged gins.

Three sealed glass ornaments, one drink in each, from the Kyneton distillery in the Macedon Ranges. The Davidsonia is the Australian answer to sloe gin, made with native Davidson's plum steeped in an overproof base. The Test Pressing Dry Gin came out of head distiller Sarah Wallace's small-batch trials and is a Martini gin above all, weaving ruby grapefruit zest, roasted wattle seed, macadamia, anise myrtle and native oregano through the classic botanicals. The Barrel Aged is a citrus-led variant of the Macedon Dry matured in Moscato Giallo barriques from nearby Musk Lane Winery, full of apricot, marmalade and burnt sugar.

Made for someone who already likes gin and wants the odd corners of a range, not the greatest hits. It suits a present for a curious drinker, a tasting flight for three people, or a Christmas tree that earns its keep.
