Description
Aphelion Wait Grenache Noir is a single-site bottling from an old McLaren Vale bush-vine block.
Aphelion works its Grenache parcels separately so that the differences between McLaren Vale's soils stay visible, from the deep sands of Blewitt Springs to the heavier ground closer to the coast. Rob Mack trained as a chemical engineer before moving into wine and founded the label in 2014. This wine is whole-bunch fermented with native yeast and aged in older oak.
Serve slightly cool at 16 degrees with roast meats or a vegetable tagine. Drink over the next eight years.
*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur. If you are after a specific vintage, please contact us prior to ordering.
