Aquilani Organic Pinot Grigio comes from Friuli in Italy's north-east, farmed without synthetic inputs.

Friuli-Venezia Giulia produces Italy's most serious white wines, on marl and sandstone soils between the Alps and the Adriatic, with cool air drawn down from the mountains at night. Pinot Grigio picked early here keeps the crispness that mass-market versions of the grape lack. The wine is certified organic and fermented cool without oak.

Serve at 9 degrees with antipasti, seafood or a light pasta. Drink within three years.
