Our Close Vine Pinot Noir exhibits menthol characters that come from the champagne clone, subtle oak, menthol, and black forest on the nose with spice, cherry & strawberry aromas, and a soft round palate. The tannins are subdued and lingering with red fruits, spice, and premium French oak. Our Close Vine Pinot goes into New French oak for 18 months, 35% new, and the balance 1 & 2-year old barrels.
Perfectly balanced with considerable length, cellar for 6-10 years.
Best paired with duck (always), pork, rich chicken dishes, spaghetti bolognese, and mushroom risotto.
