Artis Adelaide Hills Shiraz Single Vineyard 2021

Artis Adelaide Hills Shiraz Single Vineyard is a cool-climate red from the Adelaide Hills in South Australia.

The Adelaide Hills run along the Mount Lofty Ranges, just east of the city of Adelaide, at altitudes high enough to make this one of the coolest wine regions on the Australian mainland. Shiraz grown here is quite different from the warmer Barossa and McLaren Vale: lighter in body, more peppery and closer in style to the northern Rhône. This wine comes from a single vineyard and is made by Andrew Miller, the winemaker behind the Artis label.

It suits roast duck, lamb cutlets, charcuterie and mushroom dishes; serve at around 16 to 18 degrees.
