Audrey Wilkinson Pinot Grigio is a crisp dry white from the estate's vineyards at Pokolbin.

Pinot Grigio in a warm region like the Hunter needs to be picked early to keep its acidity, which gives the light, pear-scented style the name implies, as against the richer Pinot Gris approach. The estate dates from 1866 and sits on a ridge with views to the Brokenback Range. The wine is pressed gently, fermented cool in stainless steel and bottled without oak.

Serve at 9 degrees with antipasti, salads or lighter seafood. Drink within two years.
