Description

Audrey Wilkinson Shiraz is a medium-bodied Hunter Valley red in the region's savoury style.

Hunter Shiraz is earthy and medium-weight rather than rich, a consequence of humid summers and an early harvest, and it ages for decades on that structure. Audrey Wilkinson's vineyards at Pokolbin were planted in 1866 on the slopes below the Brokenback Range. Fermentation is in open vats with maturation in a mix of French and American oak.

Serve at 16 degrees with roast lamb, beef or aged cheddar. It will develop over ten years.
