Audrey Wilkinson Verdelho 2023

Audrey Wilkinson Verdelho is a dry white from a Portuguese variety long grown in the Hunter Valley.

Verdelho came to Australia in the nineteenth century for fortified wine and settled into the Hunter as a dry white, where it gives tropical fruit character with enough acidity to stay fresh. The estate at Pokolbin has been in production since 1866. The wine is fermented cool in stainless steel and bottled young without oak.

Serve at 9 degrees with Thai food, prawns or roast chicken. Drink within three years.
