Battle of Bosworth Exile Touriga Nacional is a fresh, fruit-forward McLaren Vale red made from Portugal's signature grape, grown organically.

In the Douro, this grape is the backbone of port and the other fortified wines. The family have found it copes happily with the warm, dry summers on their Willunga vineyard, where nothing is sprayed with herbicide, and they make it as a table wine to keep the floral lift and dark fruit up front.

Violets and dark plums, with fine tannins. Give it a light chill to 14–16°C and try it with chorizo, grilled pork or a mushroom risotto. If you like Grenache or a lighter Shiraz, this is an easy next step.
