Description
Battle of Bosworth White Boar is a dense, full-bodied McLaren Vale Shiraz made partly from grapes dried on the vine.
Before harvest, the canes are cut and the bunches left to partly dry where they hang, a technique borrowed from Amarone that concentrates the fruit. This is the estate's flagship, named for Richard III's emblem. The vines are farmed organically at Willunga.
Plush and dense, with dried fruit, spice and firm tannins. Decant it and serve at 17–18°C with braised beef, venison or aged cheddar. Save it for a special occasion, or tuck it away to develop for some years.
*Every effort is made to ensure the current vintage is accurate; however, variations can occur. If you are after a specific vintage, please contact us prior to ordering.
