Beautiful Isle Chardonnay 2023

Beautiful Isle Chardonnay is a fresh, cool-climate Chardonnay from Deviot in Tasmania's Tamar Valley.

Tasmania's cool climate suits Chardonnay, letting it build flavour and texture slowly while holding its natural acidity. Its vineyards run along the river's western side, and the wide estuary there tempers frost. Oak is used lightly, so fruit and acidity stay out front with just a touch of richness.

Taut and fresh, with citrus and white peach, a little creaminess and a crisp finish. Good with scallops, roast chicken, crab or soft cheeses at 9–11°C.
