Description

Beautiful Isle Chardonnay is a crisp, lightly oaked Chardonnay from Deviot in Tasmania's Tamar Valley.

Northern Tasmania's Tamar River widens into an estuary between Launceston and Bass Strait, and the water helps even out frost and temperature swings. Vineyards at Deviot run down the slopes towards it. Chardonnay here keeps its natural acidity while building flavour and texture over a long, cool season, and the winemaking adds only a little richness.

Citrus and white peach lead, with a touch of creaminess and a clean finish. Try it at 9–11°C alongside scallops, crab, roast chicken or soft cheeses.
