Description

Beautiful Isle Peacock Pinot Noir is a bright, perfumed Pinot Noir from Deviot, on the Tamar River in northern Tasmania.

Vineyards here slope down towards the river on its western bank, and the broad estuary helps soften frost and temperature swings. Tasmania's long, cool season gives Pinot Noir bright acidity, fine tannin and red-fruited perfume. The style is fresh and fruit-forward, with oak kept well back so the grape and the site come first.

Red cherry and raspberry, a gentle savoury edge and fine tannins. Serve at 14–16°C with duck, salmon, mushroom dishes or charcuterie.
