Description

Beautiful Isle Peacock Pinot Noir 375ml is a half bottle of bright, perfumed Pinot Noir from Deviot in Tasmania's Tamar Valley.

From Launceston, the estuary runs north towards Bass Strait, and that wide stretch of water tempers frost and swings in temperature. Deviot, on the western side, is one of the district's established vineyard areas, and it's where the winery sources its fruit. Pinot Noir is the island's signature red, made here in a fresh, fruit-forward way with oak in a quiet supporting role.

Red cherry, a savoury edge and fine tannins. The half bottle suits two people, or a glass or two on your own. Serve at 14–16°C with duck, salmon or mushrooms.
