BenMarco Malbec 2022

BenMarco Malbec comes from high-altitude vineyards in Mendoza, at the foot of the Andes.

Mendoza is high desert: vineyards sit between eight hundred and fifteen hundred metres, rainfall is minimal and the vines are irrigated with Andean snowmelt, while intense sunlight and cold nights give Malbec its colour and structure. The variety came from Cahors in south-west France and found better conditions here than at home. The wine is matured in French oak.

Serve at 17 degrees with grilled beef, lamb or a spiced stew. It develops over a decade.
