Description

BenMarco Sin Límites Valle de Pedernal comes from a limestone valley in San Juan, north of Mendoza.

Pedernal means flint, and the valley is named for the stone that runs through its soils. It sits at around fourteen hundred metres in a province better known for bulk wine, and the combination of limestone and altitude gives reds with firm acidity and structure. Working here rather than in Mendoza is the point of the Sin Límites range.

Decant and serve at 17 degrees with grilled beef, lamb or a rich stew. It develops over a decade.
