Black Cottage Chardonnay 2023

Black Cottage Chardonnay comes from Marlborough, a region better known for Sauvignon Blanc.

Marlborough Chardonnay is grown on the silt and gravel of the Wairau Valley and the clay of the Southern Valleys, and it gives a finer, more citrus-driven wine than the region's reputation suggests. The long, sunny autumns allow full ripeness while the cold nights keep acidity. The wine sees a portion of barrel work for texture.

Serve at 12 degrees with roast chicken, fish or a creamy pasta. Drink within four years.
