Description

Blank Canvas Abstract Sauvignon Blanc Three Rows Marlborough is a layered, textural white from Matt Thomson and Sophie Parker-Thomson, made in very small quantities.

A few selected rows of vines supply the fruit. Instead of the crisp, stainless-steel style the region is famous for, the family give this wine more attention in the cellar, and it comes out with extra texture and depth and a longer life ahead of it. The label itself is small, drawing on a handful of single vineyards.

Expect more weight and more layers than typical Sauvignon Blanc, finishing long and fresh. Pour it at 9–11°C, not ice-cold, with scallops, roast chicken or a soft cheese.
