Bleasdale Adelaide Hills Chardonnay 2025

Bleasdale Adelaide Hills Chardonnay is a cool-climate Chardonnay from one of South Australia's oldest family wineries.

Bleasdale was founded in 1850 by Frank Potts at Langhorne Creek, and the Potts family still runs it today. For its white wines the team looks north to the Adelaide Hills, where altitude and cool nights keep Chardonnay fine and fresh. Stone fruit and citrus lead the way, with extra depth from time spent maturing on the fermentation lees. Some oak adds structure and length without taking over, giving a modern Hills Chardonnay with good persistence and a clean, fine finish.

Serve lightly chilled, not ice-cold, so the texture comes through. It suits roast chicken, pork belly, grilled snapper or a creamy mushroom risotto, and will hold nicely for a few years if you'd like to see it build a little more nuttiness.
