Bleasdale Adelaide Hills Pinot Gris 2026

Bleasdale Adelaide Hills Pinot Gris is a textured, cool-climate white with spice and perfume.

The Potts family have made wine at Langhorne Creek since the 1850s, but for Pinot Gris they source fruit from the cooler Adelaide Hills, where the variety keeps its perfume and spice. Nashi pear, ginger and a rosewater lift sit over a generous palate. Part of the wine is fermented in barrel, which brings nutty complexity and a fuller mid-palate, and a touch of residual sweetness rounds it out. It is made in the textural Gris style, with more weight than a crisp Grigio.

A hint of sweetness makes this a natural match with spicy food: try Thai larb, Sichuan prawns or a fragrant Malaysian curry. Serve well chilled and drink over the next couple of years while the perfume is at its best.
