Description

Bleasdale Broad-Side Shiraz Cabernet Sauvignon Malbec is a classic Australian red blend with a dash of Malbec.

Langhorne Creek lies on the flood plains of the Bremer and Angas rivers, south-east of Adelaide, where afternoon breezes off Lake Alexandrina keep the vineyards cool and the reds generous but soft. Bleasdale has farmed here since 1850 and is still in Potts family hands. This blend brings Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon together in the time-honoured Australian way, with a little Malbec, a variety the winery has championed for well over a century. Expect plum, blackcurrant and boysenberry, a juicy palate and smooth, velvety tannins.

Built for the barbecue. Serve at around 16 to 18 degrees with snags, lamb chops or a slow-cooked beef ragu. Ready to drink now.
