Bleasdale Vineyards Bremerview Shiraz 2024

Bleasdale Vineyards Bremerview Shiraz is a spicy, silky Langhorne Creek Shiraz named for the river that shaped the region.

The Bremer River runs past the Bleasdale vineyards, and for generations the Potts family used its winter floods to water their vines. Frank Potts established the winery in 1850, making it one of Australia's oldest family-owned wine businesses. This Shiraz is a true expression of the district: medium in body, with lifted spice and dark berry fruit, a long, silky palate, juicy plum and blackberry, and notes of clove and pepper carried by fine tannins.

Pour at around 16 to 18 degrees. Lamb cutlets, beef burgers or pepper-crusted steak all sit well alongside. Drinking nicely now and will keep for several years.
