Bleasdale Vineyards Bremerview Shiraz in the half bottle is a handy size for a weeknight dinner or a picnic for two.

Langhorne Creek's gentle climate, cooled by breezes off Lake Alexandrina, produces Shiraz with plenty of flavour and softer tannins, and Bleasdale has been growing it there since the 1850s. The winery takes the name of this wine from the nearby Bremer River, whose floods once irrigated its vines. Inside you'll find medium-weight Shiraz with dark berries and lifted spice, then plum, blackberry, clove and pepper on a long, smooth palate.

Great with a mid-week steak sandwich, lamb kofta or a cheese board. Serve at around 16 to 18 degrees, slightly below room temperature on a warm day.
