Description

Bleasdale Vineyards Mulberry Tree Cabernet Sauvignon is an elegant, approachable Langhorne Creek Cabernet.

The Potts family have run this historic winery since 1850. Langhorne Creek's mild, breezy climate suits Cabernet Sauvignon well, bringing ripe fruit without heaviness. Although labelled Cabernet Sauvignon, the wine includes smaller amounts of Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot for extra depth. Mixed berries, woody herbs, dark chocolate and violets lead to blackcurrant and spicy oak, with soft, subtle tannins. It is ready to enjoy now but has the balance to age for several years.

This one loves a Sunday roast. Serve at around 16 to 18 degrees with roast beef, lamb and rosemary, or a mushroom pasta. Good now, with a few years in hand.
