Description

Bleasdale Vineyards Mulberry Tree Cabernet Sauvignon in 375ml is a smooth, easy Cabernet in a half-bottle size.

One of Australia's oldest family wineries, Bleasdale has been making wine at Langhorne Creek for over 170 years. The district sits on river flats near Lake Alexandrina, and its cool afternoon breezes help Cabernet ripen slowly and keep its perfume. Cabernet Sauvignon makes up the bulk of this blend, with a little Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot. Look for dark chocolate, violets and blackcurrant, a touch of spicy oak and gentle tannins.

Handy for dinner for one or two. Pour at around 16 to 18 degrees alongside a steak, shepherd's pie or a wedge of hard cheese.
