Bleasdale Vineyards Potts' Catch Verdelho is a crisp, fragrant white made with seafood in mind.

Verdelho has a long history in Langhorne Creek, and the Bleasdale team make it in a fresh, unoaked style. The name nods to the Potts family, who have made wine here since 1850. Portuguese in origin, Verdelho has been grown in Australia since the nineteenth century and handles the district's warm days well, helped by cooling afternoon breezes off Lake Alexandrina. Expect jasmine perfume, melon and candied lemon, with crisp acidity to finish.

As the name suggests, fish and seafood are the natural pairing: grilled whiting, fish tacos, salt and pepper squid or a simple prawn salad. Serve well chilled.
