Description

Bodegas Patrocinio Zinio Gran Cava is a traditional-method Spanish sparkling.

Cava is made the same way as Champagne, with a second fermentation in bottle, and the Gran Reserva tier requires at least thirty months on lees. Most Cava comes from Catalonia, but the appellation also covers authorised zones in Rioja and elsewhere. The Patrocinio cooperative is based at Uruñuela in Rioja Alta.

Serve at 8 degrees as an aperitif, or with jamón, almonds or fried fish. Drink on release.
