Description

Bodegas Patrocinio Zinio Tempranillo comes from Rioja in northern Spain.

Rioja is Spain's best-known wine region, running along the Ebro valley under the shelter of the Sierra de Cantabria, and Tempranillo accounts for most of what is planted. A young wine like this is released without the extended oak ageing that Crianza, Reserva and Gran Reserva require, so it shows the fruit directly. Bodegas Patrocinio is a growers' cooperative based at Uruñuela in Rioja Alta.

Serve at 16 degrees with chorizo, lamb or grilled meats. Drink within five years.
