Description

Savardo Pinot Grigio comes from Breganze, in the foothills north of Vicenza in the Veneto.

Breganze sits on volcanic and alluvial soils below the Asiago plateau, where air drawn down from the mountains keeps the nights cool. It is a small appellation best known for Vespaiolo and Torcolato, but its Pinot Grigio benefits from the same conditions, holding acidity through ripening. The wine is fermented cool without oak.

Serve at 9 degrees with antipasti, seafood or a light pasta. Drink within two years.
