Bremley Vineyard Pinot Blanc is a rare Tasmanian example of the Alsace and Alto Adige white grape.

Bremley Vineyard is a Tasmanian producer whose wines are made by Justin Bubb and Anna Pooley, one of Tasmania's most respected winemakers. Tasmania is Australia's coolest wine state, and its maritime climate, long growing season and cool nights suit early ripening varieties from northern Europe that struggle in warmer regions. Pinot Blanc, a white mutation of Pinot Noir best known in Alsace, Alto Adige and Austria, is rarely planted in Australia, and the island's conditions allow it to ripen gently while retaining crisp natural acidity. The variety is typically made without dominant oak so that its subtle fruit and soft texture remain in focus. The wine is sealed under screwcap to keep it fresh.

Delicate and fresh, it suits oysters, white fish, chicken and soft cheeses; serve chilled at around 9 degrees.
