Brokenwood Cricket Pitch White 2025

Brokenwood Cricket Pitch White is a crisp Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon blend made for easy summer drinking.

Semillon has been grown in the Hunter Valley since the nineteenth century, and here Brokenwood pairs it with Sauvignon Blanc in the classic Australian white blend. Fruit is drawn from more than one region to build a fresh, consistent style from year to year. Sauvignon Blanc gives lifted green fruit, citrus pith and a floral edge, while Semillon brings a core of citrus and melon along with zesty acidity. At a modest 11.5% alcohol the palate is light and cool, finishing with grapefruit and finger lime. It is bottled young under screw cap to hold on to that freshness.

Pour it well chilled with fish tacos, salt and pepper squid, a Thai beef salad or a plate of freshly shucked oysters.
