Brokenwood Pinot Gris 2026

Brokenwood Pinot Gris is a textured, fruit-driven Pinot Gris with a crisp, refreshing finish.

Although Brokenwood is best known for its Hunter Valley reds and Semillon, its Victorian sources have become an important part of the range, and the fruit for this wine comes from Beechworth in north-east Victoria. Pinot Gris grapes can carry a lot of colour, sometimes even a pink tinge, but this vintage is a youthful yellow-green. Some skin contact adds phenolic texture and fruit weight, giving the wine more presence on the palate than a typical Pinot Grigio. Expect pear, ginger and white flowers on the nose, with nashi pear and beeswax flavours carried by a crisp acidic backbone.

Pour it well chilled with pork dumplings, chicken larb or a mixed antipasto plate. It's made to be enjoyed young.
