Description
Bruno Rocca Dolcetto d'Alba Trifolé takes its name from the Piedmontese word for truffles.
Dolcetto ripens earlier than Nebbiolo and gives a softer, darker, low-acid red meant for drinking young, which is why it has always been the everyday wine of the Langhe while Nebbiolo was saved for occasions. The estate's vineyards sit in the Barbaresco zone around Rabajà. The wine is fermented in stainless steel with minimal oak.
Serve slightly cool at 15 degrees with salumi, pasta or pizza. Drink within four years.
