Caldora Sangiovese "Terre di Chieti" IGP 2024

Caldora Sangiovese Terre d’Abruzzo IGP is a vibrant expression of Sangiovese from Italy’s Abruzzo region, where vineyards lie between the Adriatic Sea and the Apennine mountains. The combination of warm sunshine, cooling sea breezes and clay-limestone soils allows the grapes to ripen fully while maintaining freshness and balance.

After harvest, the grapes are gently crushed and fermented in stainless steel at controlled temperatures to preserve the variety’s bright fruit character. The wine is then briefly matured in tank to maintain purity and allow the natural flavours of Sangiovese to shine without heavy oak influence.

The result is a smooth, medium-bodied red with lively notes of cherry and red berries, balanced acidity and soft tannins. Approachable and food-friendly, it pairs beautifully with pizza, pasta with tomato-based sauces or simple grilled meats.
