Catalina Sounds Pinot Gris 2025

Catalina Sounds Pinot Gris is grown in Marlborough's Southern Valleys and the estate vineyard at Waihopai.

Pinot Gris in Marlborough gives a pear-scented, textural white, and the Southern Valleys' clay soils hold more water than the Wairau gravels, which suits the variety. Catalina Sounds, founded in 2005, has moved beyond Sauvignon Blanc into Pinot Gris and Pinot Noir over the past decade. The wine is fermented cool with lees contact for weight.

Serve at 10 degrees with pork, roast chicken or a soft cheese. Drink within four years.
