Catena Alta Chardonnay 2022

Catena Alta Chardonnay is a selection of historic rows from the Catena family's estate vineyards in Mendoza.

Alta means 'high' in Spanish, a nod both to the altitude of the vineyards and to the quality of the wines made from them. Each vintage the family blends fruit from specific historic rows within its estate vineyards, chosen for their aroma and elegance. These are vines that four generations of Catenas have looked after, and the finished wine is meant to reflect both the site and that long relationship. The Chardonnay is barrel fermented and aged in French oak, giving a creamy, layered style with a fresh mountain finish.

Serve chilled at around 10 to 12 degrees. Its weight makes it a good match for roast chicken with a creamy sauce, pork belly or grilled crayfish with butter.
