Description
Cave de Turckheim Gewürztraminer Tradition is a white wine from Alsace, France, showcasing one of the region's signature aromatic varieties.
Cave de Turckheim was founded in 1955 as a growers' cooperative in the village of Turckheim, near Colmar, and is regarded as one of the finest co-operative wineries in Alsace. Drawing on fruit from around 120 member growers farming a wide range of terroirs, from the granite soils of the Grand Cru Brand to marl, limestone and sandy sites nearby, the cellar vinifies each parcel separately to preserve its individual character. Under long-serving winemaker Lilian Andriuzzi, the team favours low yields, hand-harvesting and a hands-on approach to bring out a clean, fruit-forward house style across its range.
An aromatic, richly textured white suited to spiced dishes and Asian cuisine.
