Chaffey Bros Düfte Punkt White 2025

Chaffey Bros Düfte Punkt White is an aromatic Eden Valley field blend built around Germanic grape varieties.

The fruit comes from the Fechner Vineyard, high in the Eden Valley, a site the Chaffey Bros team returns to again and again for its aromatic whites. The grapes are picked together and co-fermented, the way traditional field blends were made in Alsace and Germany. The idea is simple: take the spice of Gewürztraminer, the precision and fine acid line of Riesling, and the texture of Kerner, and let them knit into one wine. The result is a pale, near-colourless white with plenty of perfume and a crisp, fresh finish, made to be enjoyed young.

This is a great match for Thai and Vietnamese dishes, pork belly with a sweet-sour glaze, or a platter of soft cheeses. Serve it well chilled and drink it over the next couple of years while the aromatics are at their most lively.
