Description

Chaffey Bros La Conquista! Tempranillo Graciano Grenache is a Spanish-inspired Barossa red with dark cherry fruit and savoury spice.

The blend borrows from Rioja, where Tempranillo, Grenache (Garnacha) and Graciano have long been grown side by side. Warm Barossa days suit all three: Tempranillo gives the core of dark cherry and fine tannin, Grenache adds generosity and red-fruited juiciness, and Graciano contributes deep colour, acidity and a floral lift. The finished wine is dark crimson, semi-savoury and easy to enjoy, with hints of cola, chocolate and spice.

Pour at around 16 to 18 degrees with chorizo, paella, lamb skewers or a platter of manchego and jamón. It is drinking well now and should keep giving pleasure for the next six to eight years.
