Chaffey Bros Not Your Grandma's Riesling 2026

Chaffey Bros Not Your Grandma's Riesling is an elegant, pristine Eden Valley Riesling from old vines.

The grapes are hand-picked from old vines planted at around 430 metres in the Springton hills, in the southern Eden Valley. Altitude brings cold nights and a long ripening season, which is why this part of South Australia is famous for Riesling. In the winery Chaffey Bros take a minimal-intervention approach, fermenting cool and slow to keep the fruit pure while building a lush, textural palate. It is a Riesling with personality and plenty of lime-driven freshness.

Chill it well and pour with sashimi, salt and pepper squid, Vietnamese rice paper rolls or goat's cheese tart. A few years in the cellar will add toasty complexity.
